Created by perfumer Lucas Sieuzac, Reflection 45 is a bold, more concentrated reinterpretation of Amouage’s beloved Reflection Man. With a 45 % perfume-oil concentration, extra months of ageing, and enhanced maturity, it elevates the signature woody floral musk core into something richer, more resonant, and deeply luxurious.

Composition

Character & Impression

Reflection 45 opens with a vibrant burst of aromatic spice and fresh woods. Pink pepper and cardamom offer warmth and piquancy, countered by the herbal clarity of clary sage and lavender. Benzoin adds an early glow, softening the punch with resinous sweetness. 

In the heart, the fragrance evolves into a lush floral-powdery accord. Orris takes centre stage with its creamy, slightly earthy elegance, while jasmine and neroli bring luminous white floral brightness. Vanilla and tonka bean add a comforting gourmand touch without overwhelming the floral core. 

The dry-down reveals its depth: woods (cedar, sandalwood) and resins (myrrh, frankincense, opoponax) enrich the base, supported by vetiver and patchouli. It becomes warm, slightly smoky, ambery and resinous, leaving a long-lasting trail that feels both elegant and indulgent. 

Performance & Wearability

• Longevity: Very good – users report many hours of wear, especially on clothing and in cooler conditions.  
• Projection / Sillage: Strong at first; more intimate later but still noticeable.  
• Best Seasons / Occasions: Ideally suited for autumn, winter, or evening wear when its warmth, depth, and richness can shine without overwhelming in heat.
